Biography: Joe was a standout player at Bloomington High School from 1977-80.  He helped the Purple Raiders reach the IHSA Class AA Elite Eight his junior year.  A 7’0 center, he averaged 21.3 ppg as a senior while gaining all-state recognition.  Joe was a three-year starter at Illinois State University, scoring 1,022 points.  He set ISU’s career blocked shots record and single game blocked shots record.  He played on three NIT teams.
