Biography: Katie was a four year standout at Okawville High School, earning 1st Team all-state player honors as a junior and as a senior.  She was her team’s MVP during those two seasons and ended her perp career with 1,714 points and 561 assists.  Katie helped Okawville earn a state championship in 2000 followed by a 4th place finish the next year.  She went on to play at McKendree University where she set the record of 13 assists in a single game.  She was a 1st Team all-conference selection.
