Biography: Dave Golden was an all-state player at Pekin HS in 1964 and 1965.  He was also a high school All- American player in 1965.  His teams won the Pekin Holiday tournament in 1964 and 1965 and were the state champions in 1964.  His career ended with 1334 points scored.   After high school Dave attended Duke University where he was team captain in 1968-69.  After college Dave played a few seasons for the Peoria Chiefs of the CBA before moving to New Jersey to have a career with the US Postal Service.  Dave Golden passed away during October, 2016.
