Biography: Dick starred at (Chicago) St. Ignatius High School from 1950-53, averaging 24.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game as a senior. He attempted 12 free throws per game and cashed in by making 81.6 percent of his attempts.  Dick averaged 12.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game for his career, overall. He was a third-team All-American player at DePaul University.  As a senior in 1957 he served as team captain. He is a member of the Blue Demon Hall of Fame.
