Biography: David scored 1,736 career points from 1972-75 at Blue Mound High School (Note:  this is before the 3 point basket became a rule in high school basketball).  He earned all-state player honors from The Chicago Daily News as a senior, leading the Knights to 3 Macon County Tournament Championships and 2 IHSA Regional crowns.  David scored in double figures in 68 of his 74 varsity games, incudein 12 games with 30+ points.  He played at Millikin University and in 2005 was inducted into the Millikin Hall of Fame.
