Biography: Ryan scored more than 2,400 points during his career at Deerfield High School, averaging 28 and 25 points per game, respectively, as a junior and senior. He set the career record for total points in Lake County.  Ryan played two years at the University of Kentucky, contributing to the Wildcats’ 1998 national championship team. He then transferred to the University of Iowa, where he played for two seasons.
