Biography: Art was a standout at (Chicago) Lakeview High school from 1947-51, earning all-state and all-city recognition.  He went on to play at Loyola University–Chicago, averaging 15.8 ppg his senior season.  Art was the Ramblers’ team MVP as a senior in 1955, leading them in scoring and rebounding.  He was offered a contract in the NBA but delinced to fulfill his military obligation.  He is a member of the Loyola Hall of Fame.
