Biography: Tyler was a first-team IBCA all-state selection as a senior at Geneseo High  School in 2008. He was a nominee for Illinois Mr. Basketball and the McDonald’s All-America team.  Tyler ranks third in career scoring at Geneseo. A three-year starter, he received multiple All-Area and all-conference honors. He played at Northern Illinois University, where he was plagued by injuries his first three seasons before averaging in double figures in scoring as a senior.
