Biography: Roger was a three-year starter at Ridgway, scoring 2,243 points before graduating in 1959. His senior year, Ridgway knocked off Jerry Sloan-led McLeansboro in the regional semifinals.  Roger later played at Kansas State under coach Tex Winter. He was a starter most of the time his sophomore through senior seasons. As a senior, he averaged 12.9 points and 8.8 rebounds on a team that won the Big Eight Conference and placed fourth in the NCAA Tournament.  Roger was drafted by the San Francisco Warriers of the NBA.  Roger Suttner died on March 24, 2023 at the age of 81.
