Biography: Mary Pat played for (Chicago) Lourdes High School in 1975, leading her team to a 30-0 record and the Chicago City Championship.  She averaged 25 ppg.  Mary Pat then became the first scholarship player at the University of Illinois and was a 4-year letter winner.  She led the 1978-79 Illini with 13.4 ppg and 9.9 rpg.  She was drafted by Doug Bruno (HOF inductee in 2000) and the Chicago Hustle franchise of the WBL.  In 2018, Mary Pat was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame.
