Biography: As a junior and senior Tammy was selected to all of the published all-state teams in Illinois. Then, Tammy was named Illinois Ms. Basketball as a (Bartonville) Limestone High School senior in 1992. She averaged 20.1 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 3.9 steals per game, and 3 blocks per game for the 32-1 Rockets who placed second in the IHSA Class AA tournament. The Rockets lost 48-46 to (Chicago) Marshall High School in the title game for their only loss of the season. Tammy went on to play her first two years of college at The University of South Florida before transferring closer to home to spend her final two years at Bradley University. At Bradley, Tammy led the Braves in scoring–15.5 ppg, rebounding–6.5 rpg, assists–5.0 apg, and steals–2.9 spg. Tammy is a member of the Braves’ Hall of Fame, selected in 2008. She was selected as a member of the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame in 2006.
