Biography: Mark was a three-year starter at St. Charles High School, averaging 27 points per game as a senior in 1973. He holds the Upstate Conference record with 55 points in a game vs. DeKalb. Mark was the Chicago Sun-Times Basketball Player of the Year in 1973 and a consensus all-state selection. He played football at Purdue, where he was the starting quarterback for three years. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL.
