Biography: Va’Necia was a four-year starter and became the all-time leading scorer at Nokomis High School, amassing 2,384 points. She averaged 23 points and seven rebounds per game, graduating in 2001.  Va’Necia led Nokomis to back-to-back Class A state championships in 1998 and 1999. She was a two-time first-team IBCA all-stater, MVP of the IBCA All-Star Game and the State Journal-Register Class A Female Athlete of the Year. She went on to play at Bradley University.
