Biography: Kayla scored 1,486 career points at Teutopolis High School. She also blocked 49 shots and had 227 steals for the Lady Shoes. As a junior she was ranked by USA Today among the “Top 25 Players in Illinois.”  Kayla was a three-time All-Area player and earned first team IBCA all-state honors as a senior. She received a full scholarship to Eastern Illinois University. She was chosen to the Ohio Valley Conference All-Freshman Team in 2000.
