Biography: At the time of his induction, Steve had been a basketball official for 34 years, working IHSA Regionals from 1989-2012, working IHSA Sectionals from 2000-2012, and working IHSA Super-sectional games from 2005-2012.  He was among the officials working the boys’ state finals in 2007, 2008, and 2011.  He worked the Class 4A title game in 2011.  Steve as been an official in holiday tournaments at DeKalb, East Aurora, Elgin, Hinsdale South, Lemont, Luther North, Proviso West, Rockford, Wheeling and York–4 times he worked the title game of the tournament.
