Biography: In addition to a 30+ Year career as a teacher and coach at O’Fallon High School, Art served as sports editor of The Belleville News-Democrat from 1968-72, was an associate editor of The Sporting News from 1972-76, and a sports copy editor at The St. Louis Post-Dispatch from 1972-2005.  Art was a sporswriter/columnist for the St. Louis area Suburban Journals from  1975-2011.  H is a member of the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.
