Biography: George worked for 50 years as the official scorer of basketball games for (Elmhurst) Timothy Christian High School.  He was teamed with longtime friend Ken Huizinga, and fellow 2019 IBCA Hall of Fame inductee,  who ran the scoreboard.  The two grew up near each other in the Englewood neighborhood and attended kindergarten together.  The two men also organized and operated a highly successful intramural program for the school.
