Biography: John coached for 40 years at Toluca Grade School and, more recently, Fieldcrest West Middle School.  His teams won more than 600 games from the 5th through the 8th grade levels.  John was the 8th grade boys’ coach for 25 years.  His 1992-93 team won the IESA Class A state title with a perfect 24-0 record.  Former players and their parents refer to him fondly as “Coach E”.
