Biography: Roger has coached for a total of 38 years at his prep alma mater.  He won 221 games as the head coach of Belleville West High School from 1973 to 1988.  He guided the Maroons to 2 Southwestern Conference Championships, 5 IHSA Regional titles, and 1 sectional crown.  Roger is the only person to win a championship as a player and a coach at Belleville West.  He has also spent two stints as an assistant coach at the school spainning 24 seasons.
