Biography: Anne teamed with Teri Campbell to write The Amazing Appleknockers; Illinois’ Cinderella Basketball Team of 1964.  The book detailed the magical season of Cobden High School, a school of 147 students that advanced to the one-class IHSA state championship game before falling to Pekin High School, 50-45.  Anne and Teri were Cobden graduates who grew up hearing and reading about their beloved Appleknockers.  They conducted extensive interviews with the coaches, players, and fans of the team as well as researching scorebooks, scrapbooks, and newspaper accounts of the games.
