Biography: Tom built a 488-280 record as a head coach on the high school and college levels. His high school stops included Mendon Unity, Normal Community, Rantoul and Champaign Judah Christian. The most successful was Normal Community, where he won 119 games in eight seasons.  Tom had a 298-157 record in 12 years at Parkland College in Champaign. His high school teams won three IHSA regionals and one sectional. His Parkland tenure was highlighted by an NJCAA national championship.
