Biography:  Eugene Ford had a distinguished career at Crane Technical High School in Chicago. For three years, Ford was a starter for Crane. During his career, Eugene averaged 20 ppg.   In 1964, Crane won Chicago city title. In Ford’s senior year, Crane went undefeated in regular season play (1964-65). Ford played his college basketball at Western Michigan University where he was one of that school’s all-time greats.
