Biography: Craig McCormick became Ottawa High School’s all-time leading scorer with 1,681 points scored in his three years as a Pirate starter.  He led Ottawa to the IHSA Elite Eight in 1978.  After a heavy recruiting season, he chose to play for Gene Keady at Western Kentucky University from 1978-82.  He scored 1,354 points and grabbed 651 rebounds in his career there.  At the time of his graduation, Craig ranked 10th on the Hilltopper all-time scoring list.  His three-year career saw him connect on 57% of his shots from the field and 75% from the free throw line.  He was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference team each season.
