Biography:  Brian scored 2,073 points at Buffalo Grove High School from 1973-77, establishing a Mid-Suburban League record that stood until 2021. He was a four-time all-conference selection and earned All-American and all-state recognition as a senior. Brian averaged 21 ppg and 10.7 rpg his senior year. He scored 26.3 ppg and averaged 11.2 rpg as a junior. He had a high game of 42 points before moving on to play four years at Vanderbilt University.
