Biography:

Katie scored 2,230 career points and grabbed 1,236 career rebounds at Salem Community High School, recording 59 double-doubles. She was a four-time IBCA all-state selection, a four-time all-conference pick and led Salem to IHSA Regional and Sectional titles.

Katie moved on to Florida Gulf Coast University, where she played on two NCAA Tournament teams and two WNIT squads. She received the Eagle Award for most enthusiasm, hustle and willingness to get on the floor.  At the time of her graduation, Katie ranked 4th all time for career games played (135), 6th for career offensive rebounds (193), and 10th for career total rebounds (422).
