Biography: 

At the time of his induction, Al had just completed his 30th year of officiating and had worked more than 1,500 varsity boys’ basketball games. His IHSA experience includes 24 Regionals, 15 Sectionals and 5 Super-sectionals in addition to numerous county and tournament championships.

A career highlight for Al came in 2014 when he was asked to officiate the IHSA state tournament. In 2015, he worked the Class 2A state championship game, and in 2019 he officiated the Class 1A state title game.
