Biography: Natasha Pointer was a four-year starter at Chicago Whitney Young and her team played in the city championship game all for years. She averaged over 24 points a game to go along with her steals, assists and rebounds. Natasha was named 1st Team Parade All-American, 3-Time IBCA All-Stater and was Chicago Sun-Times Player of the Year. Natasha played at Rutgers University for four years. As a freshman she was Big East Rookie of the Year as well as Team MVP. As a sophomore she led the Big East in assists and was 9th in the nation for assists. In 2000, Natasha led the Scarlet Knights to their first Final-Four NCAA appearance. She is their career leader in assists and second in steals while scoring 1,456 points. Natasha was drafted by the Portland Fire. She is a member of Rutgers Hall of Fame.
