Biography:

At the time of his induction, Mike had just completed his 24th season as a girls’ head basketball coach and had built a 417-282 record. His  current head coaching position is at Bethalto Civic Memorial, where his 2021-22 team took fourth in the IHSA Class 3A State Tournament. 

Mike previously has coached at Roxana High School (215 wins), Highland High School (127 wins) and (Troy) Triad High School (13 wins). He guided Highland to third place in the IHSA Class 3A tournament in the 2015-16 season. Mike’s teams have won six IHSA Regionals, two IHSA Sectionals, seven holiday tournaments and 10 other tournaments.
