Biography: At the time of his induction, Bill Berger had coached junior high school basketball for 28 years.  Bill’s overall record was 310-186 with 246 of the wins coming at Henry-Senachwine Grade School.  He come to Henry in 1966 after stints at Harmon and Highland Junior High Schools.  His teams won the Little Tri-County Conference 6 times and finished 2nd 8 times.  In addition, Bill directed the Little Tri-County Conference Tournament  6 times.    His teams won 4 district titles and 1 sectional championship.  The 1980-81 team placed 4th in the IESA State Finals.  In 1981, Berger was named the IBCA Coach of the Year for junior high schools in District 12.
