Biography:

J.R. amassed a 463-168 record as a girls’ head coach at Carrollton, Pana and Rochester High Schools. Included was a 59-8 mark in two years at Carrollton, a 127-52 record in six years at Pana, and a 277-108 mark in 12 seasons at Rochester.

J.R., who became Rochester’s athletic director, guided teams to 13 IHSA Regional championships, nine conference titles, 4 IHSA Sectional crowns and three IHSA state tournament appearances. His 2015 and 2017 Rochester teams placed second in the IHSA Class 3A tournaments.
