Biography: Henry had a 329-144 record in a coaching career that was interrupted for three and a half years by his service to our country in World War II. He achieved the rank of captain in the U.S. Army.  Henry coached basketball at Roberts High School from 1928-34 and moved to Melvin High School from 1934-49, excluding his World War II service. His teams won 8 tournaments, 8 conference titles, 5 IHSA District crowns and 4 IHSA Regional titles.
