Biography:

Ted made his mark in basketball at Wheeling, Arlington Heights Hersey and Moline high schools and North Park University. He was the most successful coach in Wheeling history with a 148-123 record from 1969-80 and started the Wheeling Hardwood Classic in 1978.

Ted, who died in 2021, was an assistant coach at Wheeling, Hersey and North Park. He averaged 23.9 points at North Park in 1961 after transferring from Iowa State. He was an all-stater at Moline High School.
