Biography: Joe Fearheiley was a coaching veteran of 36 years (20 at Hillsboro High School and 16 at Lawrenceville High School).  He had five teams qualify for the State Tournament.  His outstanding Lawrenceville teams completely dominated the North Egypt Conference basketball and football scenes throughout the 1950’s.  His basketball teams won over 500 games and he was a member of the Chicago Daily News All State Board for many years.  Joe Fearheiley passed away during April, 1973.
