Being a Riverside-Brookfield fan wasn’t new to Glaser. He was a staunch R-B supporter since 1929 when he played four years of basketball there. One of his prime activities since graduating from high school has been attending all home games and most away games. Glaser was one of the first members of the R-B Booster Club, which used basketball activities , such as playing the coaches or sponsoring the Harlem Globetrotters games in the high school gym, to raise money for the program.  He and other R-B Booster Club members are remembered for passing out oranges to both the R-B team and the visitors at halftime of the home games. For nine years, Glaser served on the Riverside-Brookfield School Board and was instrumental in having the gymnasium named after longtime coach Barney Dudley.  Glaser’s interest remained strong throughout his life as he supported R-B enthusiastically.
