Biography: Eugene “Bud” Vallino was inducted into the IBCA Hall of Fame in 1998 as a player.  He also coached in various positions for 43 seasons, 40 in Illinois.  His career includes stints as head boys’ coach and head girls’ coach at Edwardsville High School.  Bud has also served as an assistant coach at (Troy) Triad High School from 1993-2019.  His overall head coaching record is 319-192.  The teams he has helped coach have won 652 games against 478 losses.  Bud’s involvement with high school athletics spans an impressive 53 years.
