Biography: Harold spent 36 years at Ransom Grade School, including 35 as a basketball coach. He coached 626 games there from 1957-1993, compiling a 367-259 record.  Harold’s teams won two Vermilion Conference titles, two Arrow Conference championships, two Vermillion Conference Tournament crowns and a Class 8A regional in 1980. He was one of the founders of the Vermillion Conference and also served as principal and superintendent for 35 years.  Harold McKenzie died on March 24, 2021 at the age of 88.
