Biography: Nicknamed “Stony,” Jerry had coached for more than 45 years, including 38 at Maine West at the time of his induction. He coached basketball at all levels and currently serves as junior varsity coach.  Known for his enthusiasm and eagerness to help others, Jerry has assisted in running the Maine West Summer League and Observation Tournament. His teams have more than 550 career victories. Jerry worked part-time for the Des Plaines Park District for more than 50 years.
