Biography: Dick and Lucille have been avid fans of McLeansboro High School’s basketball team for more than 50 years.  Dick began attending games in the 1949-50 season as a freshman in high School.  He married Lucille in 1960and they purchased their reserved chair seats, which they retained for nearly 6 decades.  The Autens, owners of a popular pizza spot since 1978, traveled on often treacherous roads to attend games over the years, including one at Meridian in 1969 when only 12 fans were able to brave the conditions to get to the game.
