Biography: For 28 years, Bill Asp served the Mt. Morris High School Athletic Department in any way he was asked–statistician, timer, and scorer.  He helped with football and cross country as well as basketball.  Bill says that he did it for his love of being with young people and to be close to sports.  In 1969 he was the IHSA assistant scorer for the state tournament.  In 1970 he was the official scorer.  William Asp died in February of 1987 at the age of 69.
