Biography: Known ad “Doc” in his beloved hometown of Lexington, Rick wrote a 416 page book in 2004 titled, The Complete History of Lexington High School Basketball, 1900-2004.  A dentist by trade, he was a Lexington graduate who had a deep love for the school’s athletic teams, especially basketball. Doc was active in the community, serving as president of the Jaycees and running the Little League Baseball program for 6 years.  Sadly, Lexington lost a most passionate supporter when a brain tumor took Rick on September 11, 2012 at the young age of 57.
