Biography: Augie Bamonti is one of the great supporters of (Chicago Heights) Bloom High School athletics. As the owner of Savoia Restaurant in Chicago Heights, Augie attended Bloom games for many years leading up to his IBCA Hall of Fame induction. He has helped to find jobs for many high school athletes. Over the years, he has graciously provided meals to the players and coaches. Whenever called upon to assist the Bloom basketball program, Bamonti has always been quick to respond.
