Biography: Owen is the father-in-law of fellow inductee Karen Coats.  He attended nearly every home boys and girls basketball game at (Glasford) Illini Bluffs High School for 40+ years.  Owen is such a loyal fan, that the school painted his name on the leachers on his signature spot at half court.  Owen was a “regular” who gave back to the school and community.  Owen Coats passed away on March 9, 2019.
