Biography: Diane gave a sign of things to come in her first season as a basketball coach at (Rantoul) Eater Junior High School, taking her initial squad to the IESA State Tournament in 1981.  She moved on to Argenta-Oreana for 2 years before a successful run at Urbana Middle School.  At the time of her induction,  Diane had made 11 state appearances with her Urbana teams, winning the IESA State Title in 1996 and 1998.  Her teams have won 500+ career games.
