Biography: Darlene teamed with fellow 2012 inductee, Libby Fox, for 31 years at Springfield High School volleyball and boys’/girls’ basketball games.  Fox collected the money and Rockford took the tickets.  Darlene began work as a secretary at (Springfield) Southeast High School in 1967 and was transferred to Springfield High School in 1980 where she was secretary to athletic director, Kris Glenborg.  She worked boys’ basketball games through 2010 and volleyball and girls’basketball games through 2011.
