Biography: Phillip Bouzeos remembers the days when officials drove 60 to 90 miles a night to work both high school games for $5 or $10 per night. He did it for 15 years. This Oakbrook resident also has served as a trainer for the old Chicago Cardinals football team. Employed by Campion Products Inc., Bouzeos has contributed to the development of basketball clinics throughout the state. Bouzeos had been director for 40 years of the National Hellenic Basketball Tournament held in Chicago, the oldest ethnic basketball tournament (54 years) in existence. This Austin High and Carroll College graduate is a member of the Chicago Catholic League Hall of Fame and has been a big booster of the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.  Phillip passed away on January 17, 2017.
