Biography: At the time of his IBCA induction, Herman had been involved with Mendota basketball for 30 years.  He spent 11 seasons as a boys’ varsity assistant coach and 1 as the sophomore coach.  He was the girls’ sophomore coach for 4 seasons, and varsity assistant coach for 1 season.  Herman has also been the play-by-play voice for Mendota basketball on WGLC for 13 years.
