Biography: Carroll spent 38 years as the scorekeeper for the Lewistown High School boys’ basketball team, including home and away games.  He was also at the table for IHSA regional/sectional and all-star contests.  He kept the book for many of the girls’ games and for junior high games.  Carroll was known for his variety of chewing gum, with packets always available.  He capped his career at Carver Arena in Peoria for the 2009 Class 1A State Tournament.
