Biography: Mike’s involvement with Jerseyville High School basketball spans nearly 5 decades.  At the time of his Hall of Fame induction, Mike had been the school’s boys’ varsity basketball official scorer for 42 seasons and the varsity girls’ scorer for 10 seasons.  Mike didn’t limit himself to varsity contests.  He often scored underclass games as well.  In addition to his scorekeeping service, he coached elementary and junior high basketball in Jerseyville.
