Biography: In 1974-75, “Gus” Wese (age 91) and his wife Della (age 87) attended Carbondale HS basketball games.  There’s nothing unusual in that fact.  The Weses have been followers of Terrier basketball fortunes since the school’s first season in 1922-23.  The recipients of lifetime passes in 1961, the Weses have been courtside an estimated 85% of all Terrier games through 1975—home and away.  Mrs. Wese was honored as the Terrier of the Year in the 1965-66 season.
