Biography: John was the clock operator for all home football and basketball games at Sterling High School beginning in 1972 through his Hall of Fame induction in 2014.  He taught math at the school for more than 30 years and continued running the clock for another 15 years after his retirement.  John served the Sterling community and school district for more than 40 years with his love and interest in students and athletes.
